ZANZIBAR & PEMBA are two of the largest islands in this archipelago off the east coast of Tanzania. The name Zanzibar conjures up the image of tropical white sandy beaches lined with palm trees, centuries of history, and buzzing markets offering exotic spices and food. Easily accessible from the mainland, and offering facilities for all tastes and budgets, it’s a wonderful place to unwind after the excitement of a safari.

Stone Town, Zanzibar’s old quarter, has been declared a World Heritage Site for its historic and cultural significance. Many of the buildings here date from the 19th century slave trade. Narrow winding alleyways lead to palaces, mosques and old Arab houses, famous for their elaborately carved wooden doors and frames.

The east coast of Zanzibar is lined with soft white sandy beaches and warm tropical breezes blowing over the Indian Ocean. This region offers excellent diving and snorkelling opportunities as well as some stylish accommodation.

Pemba Island, lying northeast of Zanzibar, is much less developed as a tourist destination. However, it is a good option if you really want to get away from it all. It has some beautiful beaches and interesting Shirazi ruins.

MOZAMBIQUE is bordered by six countries with Tanzania to the north and South Africa to the south, and has over 2,500 kms of coastline offering exceptional tropical island getaways off the south eastern coast of Africa.  The long, palm-fringed beaches with squeaky-fine sand, turquoise waters, and abundant marine life offer amazing diving and snorkeling opportunities.

The SEYCHELLES is an archipelago of 115 islands, situated in the western waters of the Indian Ocean 500-1500 km off the east coast of Africa.  The 41 inner islands constitute the oldest mid-oceanic granite on earth.  The islands are home to white sandy beaches and tropical forest while the iridescent waters are filled with pristine coral reefs and an array of marine life including giant tortoises and sea turtles.

North Island is one of the forty inner granite islands of the Seychelles archipelago, often considered to be the most beautiful on Earth.

The private island is about 2.5 km long by 1 km wide - an area of around 210 hectares. Located about 15 minutes by helicopter from Mahé, the island offers the ultimate in barefoot luxury. White sandy beaches on each side of the compass, a spectacular central pool hewn out of the rock, a health spa and gym, a sunset bar on the western beach, excellent snorkelling off the beaches, scuba diving within one of the most unique and spectacular marine environments, are just some of the many striking features and facilities on this year round tropical island paradise.

With only 11 villas on the entire island, guest numbers are limited and privacy is one of the main attractions.  All generously sized villas (about 450m2) are just meters away from the east beach and are simply yet beautifully hand-crafted from timber, local stone, glass and thatch.  Each villa is completely self-contained and comprises of an air-conditioned bedroom with dressing room and writing area, a lounge area, kitchenette, sun-deck and a private pool. A second bedroom can be used as a study with internet connection, DVD/CD system. The luxuriously proportioned main bedroom leads onto a large en-suite bathroom with marble bath and a completely private outside shower.

Enjoy the beautiful beaches with the crystal clear water of the Indian Ocean, get to know the island with your own buggy or bicycle and let your mind float and relax whilst enjoying one of the many beauty treatments in the health spa or within the privacy of your own lodge. Other activities include windsurfing, sea kayaking, yacht charters, boat trips to neighbouring islands, and golf on Praslin Island.
